Deanna is Resolve Legal Group’s Client Support Coordinator whose role is to be there for clients, at no charge, to assist them and ensure they are satisfied with our services. Born in Manitoba, Deanna moved to Alberta at eight years old and has been a proud Calgarian ever since. When she isn’t at work, Deanna enjoys spending quality time with her husband and children. She also enjoys crocheting, quilting, crafts, and camping. In fact, her love of crafting has inspired her to one day open her own craft store, where she wishes to share in the delight of crafting with others.
To date, Deanna’s proudest achievement in her career is her recognition in client management and the continued opportunities she has been provided to develop her skills in client support. In her personal life, her proudest achievement by far has been the opportunity to raise her son and daughter.
Deanna wanted to join the team at Resolve Legal Group because she loved the business model; particularly because of the focus on client support and care. Katelynn is the Community Outreach Coordinator an Administrative Assistant with Resolve Legal Group. Katelynn was born in Edmonton, and moved to Abbotsford, BC before landing in Calgary when she was 13. Katelynn’s biggest influence in life is her mom, and uses her example to be a good person and a good mom. Katelynn is best described as organized, family-oriented and compassionate.
Of the achievements in her life, Katelynn is most proud of getting her Diploma in Medical Office Administration, and raising her two beautiful boys. In her spare time, Katelynn enjoys planning events, baking, crafting and anything that involves being outside. Katelynn loves her job at Resolve Legal Group because of the amazing team and considers herself very lucky to be able to work here.

Tracey is the Human Resources and Office Manager with Resolve Legal Group. She is a born and raised Calgarian who derives her influence and personal development from her family. Tracey grew up in a working-class family. Her father showed her the importance of hard work and dedication as he worked his way from a construction worker to the co-owner and Project Manager of a family company. Tracey believes that you can achieve anything you want in life if you’re willing to work for it. She is best described as caring, fun and dedicated.
The achievement in Tracey’s life which brings her the most pride is raising (with the help of her husband) 3 sons who are well on their way in their own lives. Tracey is also very proud of her career development which saw her go from a gas station manager to a law office manager!
Tracey’s main reason for wanting to join Resolve Legal Group is the owner. Cyndy’s dedication, commitment and enthusiasm are inspiring. While she’s not at work, Tracey enjoys spending time at her cabin with her family.
In the future, Tracey aspires to do her part in making every initiative at Resolve Legal Group successful. This shouldn’t be difficult as Tracey loves the challenges work and her co-workers provide! Sandra was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta and joined the Resolve Legal Group team in March 2017. Sandra now specializes in accounts management after working her first 15 years in the legal profession as a legal assistant. Sandra and her husband have 3 grown children between them, and in her spare time, Sandra enjoys visiting family and friends and travelling. The three words that would best describe Sandra are organized, reliable and hardworking.
Sandra has always loved Calgary with its proximity to the Rocky Mountains. She enjoys travelling with her husband and spending quality time with family and friends. Sandra looks forward to visiting Italy and Greece someday (as a lot of her favourite movies take place in these countries
Kimberly is a Legal Assistant at Resolve Legal Group. Kimberly, a born and raised Calgarian, attributes her personal development to her parents and grandparents. She believes that the greatest lesson anyone can learn in life is that words matter – it’s not what you mean, but how things are interpreted. The famous person that Kim identifies with the most is Marlee Matlin, an actress who has built success for herself despite losing her hearing. Kim believes that our struggles in life should never hold us back from the things we want to accomplish. The three words that best describe Kimberly are enthusiastic, conscientious and personable.
Kimberly’s greatest achievements have been receiving two diplomas from SAIT – Business Administration with an Accounting major, and Legal Assistant. Kimberly enjoys animals, listening to music, zentangle, coloring, psychology, math and reading mystery novels. Kimberly loves working at Resolve Legal Group because of the many initiatives and programs it has to help their clients through difficult times. And of course Kimberly loves the amazing people she gets to work with!
In the future, Kimberly would also love to travel to Scotland and see the town where her grandmother was born. Kimberly loves the career she chose as it allows her to make a difference in people’s lives while being part of a productive and caring team. For now, Kimberly is focusing on learning American Sign Language. One day she hopes to be able to interpret for the hearing impaired using American Sign Language in a legal setting.

Theresa is the Legal Assistant at Resolve Legal Group. She is from Calgary, Alberta and is a strong believer in the notion that time spent is far more valued by someone than by things. Theresa is best described as compassionate, positive and friendly.
Theresa’s proudest achievement is her career as a Legal Assistant. Theresa has been a part of the Resolve Legal Group team since 2015. She loves being part of Resolve Legal Group because of the great, client-centered team.
In Theresa’s free time, she enjoys painting, gardening, camping and travelling. In the future, Theresa would like to have her own hobby farm where she would also be able to indulge her love of animals. She hopes to have an opportunity to travel to Alaska, New Orleans and across our own beautiful country. For now, Theresa is focused on enjoying being a mom and spending time with her family.

Joshua is a Family Lawyer with Resolve Legal Group who is originally from Worsley, Alberta. Joshua attributes his personal development as a lawyer to Lord Denning of England, who wrote Joshua’s favourite judgments to read. His favourite lessons to have learned in life are: family should come before anything else, enjoy the present moment, and everything is fixable. The famous person Joshua identifies the most with is Lord Admiral Horatio Nelson. Joshua describes himself as outgoing, curious and adventurous.
Joshua’s proudest achievements are having an extensive amount of peer-reviewed publications and his involvement in provincial and federal politics. He has also received an honours designation in University and is the recipient of a Governor’s General Academic Award.
In his spare time, Joshua volunteers with the Conservative Party of Canada, the United Conservative Party of Alberta, the DIY Theatre Society and Calgary Legal Guidance. He enjoys traveling, watching movies, learning languages, and spending time with his dog. Joshua is grateful for his opportunity to meet the owner of Resolve Legal Group, Cyndy Morin, while he was articling with another firm. This meeting lead to Joshua being offered a position with Resolve Legal Group upon completion of his articles.
In the future, Joshua hopes for the opportunity to learn how to fly an airplane and do more travelling. For now, Joshua is enjoying helping people and assisting them with various issues such as child custody and property issues.

Prior to commencing her articles with Resolve Legal Group, Raj worked as a Family Support Worker with Child & Family Services. In her role as a Family Support Worker, Raj cultivated important analytical and problem solving skills in a culturally and socio-economically diverse environment. Raj provided supportive and meaningful services, while advocating for the rights of her clients. Although Raj is originally from Ontario, working with Child & Family Services allowed Raj to familiarize herself with small town Alberta. Raj has had the opportunity to travel to places such as Innisfail, Fort Macleod, Maskwacis, Siksika, Morley and Claresholm to name a few. Raj is a valued member of our Calgary team, at Resolve Legal Group, where she continues to carry her client centered quality of services to the clients at our firm.
In her spare time, Raj enjoys spending time with her husband, visiting with their extended family, travelling, reading, cooking, shopping as well as exploring the Western Canadian outdoor playground that Alberta shares with its residents and visitors alike. Raj feels fortunate to have made our beautiful Province her permanent home.
Jonathan, who hails from Red Deer, Alberta, is a Barrister and Solicitor with Dominion Tax Law. His greatest lesson learned in life is that you need to be able to take care of yourself before you can help others. Another great lesson learned is that you must learn from your mistakes. The three words that best describe Jonathan are humorous, easy-going and dedicated.
In addition to being a University of Toronto Faculty of Law graduate, Jonathan obtained an International Political Economy Masters from Tsukuba University, Japan. Notwithstanding this, Jonathan claims his greatest achievement in life is not getting kicked out of court! (yet…)
The owner of Resolve Legal Group, Cyndy Morin, and her magnetic personality is the reason Jonathan partners with Resolve. Jonathan focuses on tax, trusts and estates law and loves that every day at work is something new.
Jeff has been a practicing lawyer since 2000 with extensive litigation experience. Earlier in his career, Jeff was an insurance defence trial lawyer. Jeff now enjoys the privilege and challenge of working as a family lawyer assisting individuals and families. Jeff is a passionate advocate for his clients and a firm believer in Resolve Legal Group’s collaborative approach to the practice of family law.
While Jeff is a third generation Calgarian, he is well travelled having visited 4 different continents. He has been white water rafting on the Zambezi river in Zimbabwe, Africa, and has snorkelled at the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. Jeff also has a singing background which includes singing in the Calgary Opera Chorus, the Young Canadians and even a disco band.
Before obtaining his law degree from the University of Manitoba, Jeff obtained a B.Sc. in Ecology at the University of Calgary. He also has a French Immersion Certification upon completing high school. He further has a long history of volunteering, including with Calgary Legal Guidance as a volunteer lawyer and participating in the mock trials in the Alberta Law Society’s ‘Law Days’.
Jeff aspires to live “a life worth living” and hopes to do so by giving back to his community and investing in those around him. Jeff hopes to see Costa Rica someday, where he can see volcanoes, oceans and monkeys – a scientist’s dream! Jeff loves that his career allows him to be a problem solver and loves the satisfaction of helping people through their challenges.

In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys attending Calgary Hitmen games in the fall and winter, where she is a season ticket holder. In the spring and summer months, Jennifer enjoys camping. Jennifer loves that her career with Resolve Legal Group allows her to work and make new connections in her community of Cochrane.
In the future, Jennifer hopes to be able to travel to Indonesia to see the beautiful country and indulge in the amazing food! For now, Jennifer is enjoying her focus on learning the moving parts of the legal practice.
